After completing an international degree in materials science in Saarbrücken, Nancy and Gothenburg with a German and French engineering degree and receiving the highest distinction (“summa cum laude”) for his dissertation, Dr. Zeiner held several management positions at a Saarland automotive supplier from 2007 to 2013, including as head of a core-making shop and aluminum foundry.
He has been specializing in industrial property protection since 2014. While training as a German patent attorney and European Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney, he spent several months as an intern at the German patent and trademark office (DPMA) as well as the Federal Patent Court (BPatG) in Munich.
He speaks English and French fluently.
Dr. rer. nat Vanessa Geis
As a doctor of chemistry I have at my disposal extensive knowledge from chemicals research and practice in addition to my expertise in industrial property protection.
Following a degree in chemistry majoring in macromolecular chemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg and a dissertation in the field of inorganic chemistry, Dr. Geis opted to undergo training as a patent attorney in a law practice in Mannheim back in 2014. During this time she interned at the District Court of Mannheim, the German patent and trademark office (DPMA) and the Federal Patent Court (BPatG) in Munich.
Dr. Geis is a German and European patent attorney as well as a European trademark and design attorney, working in all fields of industrial property protection since 2017. In her work as a patent attorney she specializes in the drafting, filing and enforcement of property rights. Her specialisms include organic and inorganic chemistry as well as chemical process technology, specifically polymer chemistry, petrochemistry, catalysts and the life sciences field.
